Gardner’s Art through the Ages:

You are to write a short essay comparing Albertina facade of Santa Maria Novella (Figure 16-40 in your textbook) to Palladio’s Villa Rotunda (Figure 17-28 in your textbook). Think of the buildings’ designs and what they say about the time in which they were designed/created. Also take into consideration the architect demonstrating his ideas of Classical forms and harmonic relationships between parts if/where applicable.
