I’m taking sociology 1010 class and basically this essay is about the notes that I took in class (provided in the additional materials) and some readings articles from the “Down to Earth Sociology” book by James M. Henslin, but they can all be found online. I attached a list of readings along with my notes from class. I prefer the essay to be based on the notes and choose one reading either from Culture and Social Structure section or Socialization section. The essay should Compare and contrast some concept or element from one of the class sections with another concept or element from a second class section. For example, you might want to compare and contrast the concept of “role conflict†from the Culture and Social Structure section with “face saving†from the Socialization section. Include discussion of one reading from a section you’ve chosen.( role conflict is in file sep 8 and face saving in sep 15 and there are useful notes in sep1-3-10) . if you weren’t able to find the readings online, contact me and i’ll scan them for you. PLEASE BOLD the main points in the essay. just note that I’m an international student, so I don’t want the English to be prefect just clear and easy to understand. Thanks a lot.
