You have viewed a video about risk related to fees in a utility, viewed a video about risk related to the location of a potential flight school, and read about LEGO’s ERM and HydroOne. There are a number of large issues that come into play throughout the process. Some risks should be relatively easy to recognize, though they may be difficult to quantify. Identify two risks in an organization you have been, or are currently affiliated with. Write two to three pages per risk and address the three challenges identified by Segal in Chapter 3. How has your organization addressed these challenges, or how could they address the challenges for the risk involved? If the risks in question are being managed, explain how by applying the ERM criteria. If they are not being managed, explain how they could be managed, applying the ERM criteria.
