Social Responsibility and Citizenship of the company

I started off YR 11 by considering the Social Responsibility and Citizenship of the company.  As I reviewed the options I decided this early in the life of the business that our social responsible would best be demonstrated through using recycled boxing/packaging.  This way we contributed to operating in a socially responsible manner while keeping our expenses low.  I decided on Plant upgrade option A to upgrade the assembly line in order to reduce the product rejection rate by 50%, therefore, by cutting that rejection rate in half we put out a more quality product.  As I started making decisions I noticed my scoring measures began to decline and knew at that point other strategic decisions needed to be made in order to survive the year.  Therefore I began to manipulate the numbers decrease the bid price to save money.  I cut the retail delivery by changing my shipping from United States Postal Service to FEDEX, hoping to increase the image rating with the on-line customer.
