Italian Renaissance
Overview
For this discussion, you assume the role of an ordinary 15th Century Italian. You must make an original post and responses to (at least) two of your peers. To be successful in this discussion, be sure to consider Module 6’s Exploration on Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling as well as the module lecture on the Renaissance.

Instructions
1. Assume the role of an ordinary individual (i.e. not a famous artist or politician) in Italy during the 15th century and compose a brief (150-200 word) post that introduces yourself (e.g., Hello, my name is Giovanni and I am a shoemaker from Padua) and then answers the following question:
What do you believe are the most important factors of the Italian Renaissance and why?
Consider the cultural, economic, political and social changes in your story. For example, if you were a woman in Renaissance Florence, what factors of the Italian Renaissance would be most important to you and why?
